The Point

Second Edition (slightly different ending) Coast Guard Master Chief Ginetti has recently passed away. He left his boat, the Undine, and its logs, to his son Charles Ginetti, who never had time to go out on the boat with his dad. The will stipulates that Charles go out on the Undine to read the logs. Charles is a Silicon Valley icon who started a business and built it up from scratch. He decides to read the logs while sailing the Undine from Santa Cruz to San Francisco to see his daughter. But Charles' lack of experience quickly lands him in trouble. Sierra Marney is a fourth generation lighthouse keeper. Her family has been tending the Pigeon Point lighthouse since 1872. She lives a solitary life at the isolated station on the windswept Northern Pacific coast. When Charles founders onto the rocks at Pigeon Point, Sierra may be the only one who can save him.
