"What is the Phoenix Project? We exist because civilization will end. We know it is not a matter of if but when. We cannot stop it from happening we cannot prevent it from happening. It will happen. Then why does the Phoenix Project exist? To rebuild civilization after it happens. Our recruits are specialists in medical, engineering and the military fields with the knowledge needed to rebuild. They along with supplies and equipment will be stored in cryogenic hibernation to sleep through the collapse. At the appropriate time, they will awaken.
