The Persistence of Memory

Julia Dearborn has a problem. Its name is Codeine. After a violent encounter with her abusive husband on Christmas Eve she is left battered, scarred, widowed and hooked on painkillers. During times of stress she starts to hide from her problems in a fantasy world created in her mind. Unfortunately, the spirit of her dead husband Robbie is always there to remind her who's the boss. When his spirit starts to torment Julia in real life she finally realizes she needs help to kick the addiction before he gains the power to control her life forever. Julia soon finds out that getting herself clean isn't the hardest thing she'll have to go through to take back her life.
