When does public ‘need to know' outweigh family loyalty? That is the dilemma for journalist Mark Andrew when he discovers a drug he is investigating is made by The Penhaligan Foundation, the company owned and run by his own father, Amos Penhaligan.



Because he uses his middle names when working not everyone realises that Mark Andrew and Steven Penhaligan are one and the same. Which leads to further problems when someone tries to stop his investigation by sending him a letter bomb.



This novel not only explores the problems behind the drug and Mark's efforts to find the truth, but deals with the emotional problems involved when a life is turned upside down.



But at the same time this story moves at a rapid pace, has some wry humour, interesting characters and a feel that it might be happening right now.
