The Paradox Initiative

A deafening crash comes from the back of Kestrel Evans' shop. A ten-foot cylinder appears out of nowhere and flattens all the boxes-- And out of it steps a young man in a leather jacket, toting a sawed-off shotgun, and smoking a cigarette. Which is EXTREMELY illegal. His name is Jack Wolfe, and he demands Kestrel's help in tracking down a dangerous scientist who may be heading up a galactically-forbidden time-travel project: THE PARADOX INITIATIVE. In an interstellar race, Kestrel and Wolfe are pitted against disease, android soldiers, ghosts from Wolfe's past, and the Initiative's carefully-woven web-- A web that could kill them all if they become entangled.
