Twenty-year-old Cassidy Fields wants out of Philadelphia before her father marries her to an odious man twice her age. Her best friend, Emily Evans, is set to marry a man in Pine Ridge, Colorado, but can't leave as her mother has fallen ill. Cassidy is both stunned and eager when Emily suggests Cassidy go in her place as the Mail Order Bride of Wyatt Thomas.Wyatt Thomas, a former member of the outlaw Wolfe Gang, has gone straight and wants a bride to help him build his dream - a cattle ranch.
