Victoria Day, a teenage girl, has a strange gift; a connection to the dead. Ever since she was born, she has been tied to a ghost. In her senior year of high school, Vickie's best friend dies. The pain hits her hard and pushes her over the edge and pushes her to the point where she tries to end her own life. Her linked ghost, Justin Miller, saves her life and agrees to keep it a secret from Vickie's mother. Sooner than she had expected, she sees her best friend again. Maybe her connection to the dead wasn't such a horrible thing after all.
