About This Book

Rosalie Donne, social hostess at the hotel at Hassi Ai'n, had not behaved very well as far as her boss, Randal Quest, was concerned. She had been very far from up to her work, she had eventually eloped with Randal's brother -- and she had done it all in the name of her sister Carey. So when Carey realised the enormity of her sister's behaviour she felt it was only fair that she should go out to Morocco and take over the job herself, thus making some kind of amends to Randal Quest.

Unfortunately the welcome she received when she arrived on Hassi Ai'n was far from being a warm one, for Randal scented a plot, and refused to believe that Carey had not been a part of it. Plot there certainly had been, but could it really be that Carey knew nothing about it? How could she convince him -- especially with the beautiful, widowed Gerda Ehrens, her claws firmly fixed into Randal, doing her best to see that Carey didn't succeed?
