About This Book

Meg and her family have moved into a new house. But this is no ordinary house. It is a house within a house. Meg and her best friend Julie find themselves inadvertently slipping in and out of time warps discovering a parallel world as they do so. It is a world of romance and theatre, a world of tragedy, joy and intrigue. It is a whole new world which tantalisingly untangles itslef and after their initial adventures the girls cannot help but go back for more. They discover and become embroiled in the lives of Annie, Ada and Belle, three glamorous sisters who are totally immersed in their theatrical lilves whether they are on or off stage. They also meet Betty, the sisters' most staunch friend and supporter and young Edward, her nephew, who are somehow always there in the background at every twist and turn. The girls cannot prevent the adventures from happening and have to continue with them until each thread is unravelled and they have to make sense of it all. There is ultimately a final piece of the puzzle to be found before life can ever get back to normal, or whatever normal is, in the new house. (This story is loosely based on my own experiences and the lives of my great aunts who were on the stage for many years and amongst the original/early Tiller Girls.)
