A skimmer man is never going to make enough to do anything. As I skimmed I fished; as I skimmed I twisted twine; as I skimmed I did all manner of things that I could do. Some of it wasn't much. I caught fish to eat and caught rainwater to drink. I did without; I dried fish. The people who lived on ships in the ocean were a hearty lot.
