Heman White Chaplin (1847-1924) was an American humourist and author. He graduated from Harvard University in 1867 and worked as a lawyer. He sometimes wrote under the pseudonyms C. H. White and H. W. C., and contributed to Harper's Monthly and the Century Magazine.
