The New Eternals:A diamond in the rough can come from anywhere. That's part of what makes it so hard to find one in the first place. Enter James Copeland, a bit of an under-achiever. He is thorough, methodical and steadfast. But he does not seek adventure or anything out of the normal. One of the most hidden diamonds there is. But something inside lays hidden, a hero.The main computer has a twin that performs forecast analysis and it has just tagged young Jimmy as something special. Unbeknownst to him, it has made inquiries on his behalf. After a medical emergency, the computers calls upon Vincent, an ancient member of the crew, an Eternal, to intercede on the young man's behalf. Now Jimmy has abilities beyond his own comprehension. He becomes bored with his monitoring job and looks for something more hands-on in Maintenance.But something has gone wrong with the prediction computer and systems are failing across the mighty ship. Can Jimmy and his girlfriend Amelia find answers before something big causes loss of life, or worse, ends the mission? Jimmy will have to figure out what he can do fast to find out what is going on and to put a stop to it before the Nostos' failures become irreparable.
