Allissa is ready for a vacation from her successful dentistry practice, and she has chosen her beautiful new home as the perfect spot. Well-stocked with painting and cleaning supplies, she is ready to work, but she can't seem to pull herself away from the backyard fence.

On the other side of the fence is Brad Ratner, who has also just moved into the neighborhood and is launching his own renovations. But this mysterious, handsome artist unwittingly places Allissa's life in danger when he begins digging in a backyard pool and uncovers a murderous plot lain dormant for a decade.
