Stephanie had every intention of spending her summer soaking up the Southern California sun. But then the contractor building her new pool unearthed a mysterious fossilized skeleton, and Stephanie's lazy summer was put on hold while a team of paleontologists poked around in the mud.

Still, there were some advantages to having a fossil in one's backyard. Advantages like Dr. Adam Colter, UCLA professor and ideal specimen of handsome, rugged man. Determined to salvage whatever she could of her vacation plans, Stephanie took an interest in Adam's work -- and discovered the myth and the magic of love.
