The Mystery of the Wild Surfer

A mysterious surfer named Duke saves twelve-year-old Josh Ladd from drowning off the coast of Hawaii. But when Josh tries to befriend him, Josh finds himself and his family threatened by dangerous men.

Soon he is chased onto a cliff by those same thugs, and only his creative thinking saves him. Later, the men place Josh's life in jeopardy by abandoning him in a burning sugarcane field about to be inundated by a tidal wave. His sole hope is to make a furious dash for high ground.

Struggling to survive while remaining a loyal friend, Josh is reminded of the power of prayer and God's care.
