The Mystery of the Gun in the Garbage

Hidden guns and heart-stopping adventure where not what eleven-year-old Chad and Penny were expecting to find in the trash barrel of Chad's mysterious and scary new neighbor. They were just collecting recyclable cans -- really! Chad and Penny are members of Earthkeepers, a club of concerned kids trying to do their part to clean up the environment.

Figuring out why the gun was in the garbage was the easy part, compared with trying to figure out who the good guys and the bad guys are!

They had no intention of trying to clean up the illegal gun trade. Or of getting involved with the FBI. Or of helping solve a mysterious murder in the park. It all just sort of... happened.
