When Ariele Harwood learns that she has inherited eerie Sheldrake Manor, her Great-Aunt Elizabeth's former home, her first thought is to sell the property.

But Ariele has counted on the charms of Van Caulfield, the handsome, motorcycle-riding attorney who is executor of the estate. Though Van's suggestion that she turn the manor into a bed-and-breakfast inn intrigues Ariele, she is more troubled by her intense attraction to the attorney.
