The Moogh

Maggie Tarp has escaped her humble origins through a prestigious role as the Moogh Reporter for the Fractious News Network. The Moogh is a mystery creature that ambled out of a forest one day and gained a cult-like following of millions. An 11-foot-high primate with a handsome face and gentle disposition, the Moogh is endorsed by the UN as an Ambassador of Peace and Sustainability. Maggie is embedded with moogh.org, the organization contracted to manage Moogh affairs. But her bosses at the Network don’t like her stories about spirituality and Moogh philosophy - they just don’t sell. So, they pair her with hot-shot journalist, Perrin Speer. Sparks fly and Maggie rejects everything that he tries to teach her. However, when Perrin falls foul of moogh.org, Maggie quickly learns that behind the PR spin about pacifism and integrity, moogh.org kills freely to keep the peace.
