There was a time when their secret organization was spread worldwide. Now, to Dawn's knowledge, her group is the only centralized branch of the association left standing and she is their struggling leader. They provide support, via the Internet and Ma Bell's illegitimate offspring, to the struggling members who stand alone in their communities. They enforce the rules, handed down through the generations, and do their level best to keep the country from collapsing into a writhing mass of uncontrolled madness. They do this because if the organization ever fails, it could quite possibly be the end of the world as we know it. Who are they? They are the few, the proud, the absolutely exhausted. They are the Mommy Mafia. And if their fearless leader doesn't get a nap soon, it could be the end of this elite group.
