Willow has given up on trying to bring Nych Haywiyth back from the dead.
She met Marcus, who was a kind man at first, and has had two children with him. She loves her kids more than anything in the world, but...
She can't say the same about Marcus anymore.
The man became abusive, causing her children to call someone who their mother hasn't seen in a long, long time.

She convinces Willow to begin working on bringing Nych back, and eventually, Willow comes to a breakthrough.
