Marigold Pottersby is hanging onto her father's failing San Bernandino copper mine by the skin of her teeth when she discovers Martin Tafft plans to use it in his new film. Realizing a hefty rental fee may be the answer to her prayers, Mari agrees to let filming begin--but she balks at the offer of a role.
