The Mennonite Girl

Beth Ann Jasper has lived plain all of her life as a member of the conservative Mennonite community. Although she completed her education through the tenth grade at her Mennonite school, Beth Ann longs for more. With a brave heart and strong faith, she enrolls in public high school, thus facing many obstacles and temptations. With her cape dresses and headcovering, Beth Ann introduces a new standard of dress and attitude amongst her worldly classmates. Temptations and bad influences are at every turn, ready to bring a wholesome Christian girl down. Beth Ann defies the odds by remaining true to her beliefs and finds true love in an unexpected place. As the senior projects fall due and graduation looms, Beth Ann, the once obvious outsider, becomes a role model for all and not just The Mennonite Girl.
