About This Book

Six months have passed since the accident that claimed the lives of Andy Ridgemont's eight-year-old twin daughters. Andy and his surviving daughter, twelve-year-old Alyssa, embark on a trip ‘home' to Lambert, Pennsylvania. On the way, they discover an abandoned farmhouse, the infamous Collier House, long thought haunted. The Collier's were a four-member family who all died within a year of each other in 1917-18. Andy, inexplicably drawn to the house, begins investigating and exploring. She also begins to have strange compelling dreams and visions. Steve Catalano, a writer of "true" ghost stories, shows up to research the home. Steve and Andy feel an immediate and profound connection for one another. As their relationship develops, they begin to share information and piece together a puzzle that will end up involving themselves and a love that began a century before.
