Jessica Marshall's family life had run serenely for twenty-two years, and then just one telephone call led to her world being turned upside down. This is the story of how she faced up to a challenge.

"Didn't Bob ever talk about his business?" It was a question Jessica found difficult to answer. Only when her confortable world came tumbling down did she realize how much Bob had shielded her from unpleasant reality. Jessica loved her husband, however, and she was determined to prove it now that he needed her. Little did she suspect how much her love would be tested when their life-style drastically changed and their family circle enlarged to include ten homeless waifs!
