Recon Marine Mak enjoys leading a scientific mission, but their horrible discoveries raises questions about his origin he's not ready to face. He continues on the assignment for two reasons. A soul deep need for answers about the Recon Marine program and a fierce need to protect Dr. Molly Drant. The genius doctor is too courageous for her own good.
