When his relationship breaks down Ewan goes to London in the search for a new start. All is going well until malevolent fate takes a hand. In one dreadful moment his phone, tickets, wallet - everything, cascade into an open sewer. In a matter of moments he is penniless and friendless in the nation's capital. Bad gets worse until we find him slumped in despair in a telephone kiosk. An enigmatic stranger seems to offer a tiny glimmer of hope but nothing in his past could have prepared Ewan for the ups and downs of his present existence.
