The Make Believe Plays

From the creator of Winnie-the-Pooh comes this highly imaginative children's play about the power of make believe. Act One is the story of the "The Princess and the Woodcutter." The Princess has her heart set on marrying the lowly Woodcutter, but her parents have different plans for her. Three Princes must pass a specially devised test to win her hand, but the crafty Woodcutter comes up with a scheme to make all right. Act Two opens on Christmas. The poor Hubbards have not been invited to Father Christmas' party believing they weren't invited because they are too poor. But by a series of accidents they end up at the party and become the celebrated guests. Written by the master playwright, these plays have entertained and delighted audiences for generations.
