The Macintyre Plot

Walking over the fog-bound moors, ex-policeman Martin Metcalfe found a dead pilot, still strapped in the seat of his plane. He also found a briefcase which was filled with Å"24,000 in cash! Martin decided to hand it in to the authorities, but as he walked away from the scene of the crash, an armed man was lying in wait to take the cash from him. Metcalfe found himself unwittingly involved in murder, blackmail and high-level intrigue, a situation that called for all his expertise and police knowledge.
