Bas Zorn has loved hockey for as long as he can remember. It was all he had since he cut both of his brothers out of his life and kept everyone else at arm's length. However, he had another love…alcohol. It helped dull the pain of being a failure and killing his family. He thought he would never feel anything again.


Erin Troutt has been on her own since she could get out of her house. Her life revolved around work and her computer. When she met her neighbor across the hall, her life changed. They became fast friends and more, but she couldn't deal with one thing…his drinking.


Bas relies on Erin for everything, even when his world falls apart. Can he get the help he needs before his angel sees his true ways and leaves him for good? Or will he remain a lush forever?
