The Lost Vampire

The Bank is an old stone building, located at the end of Houston Street, on the last stretch of high ground between the East Village and the wilderness of the Lower East Side. At one time the headquarters of the prestigious Williamson investment and brokerage building was present in stately style, a luxurious art-style model, with a classic hexagonal facade and a row of "teeth" saws are scary - sharp serrations on the outside of the wall. For many years this building was located on the corner of Houston and Essex streets; desolate, deserted and abandoned; until one winter evening when a nightclub manager changed it up shortly after he had eaten a hot hot dog sandwich in Katz's Deli. He was looking for a meeting place to introduce the new music the record operator was spinning - a dark, ghostly sound they called Enchanting.
