The Looking Glass

Gregg Maclvor glanced to the mirror before stepping into the elevator. Her reflection glowed back at her, the shining red hair framed the fine features and the wide, luminous eyes, Suddenly she was stunned with sick paralyzing terror as the face of the man behind her came into slow agonizing focus. Their eyes met for one lingering moment and then he was gone.

Was it possible? The chill of fear she had believed long buried, enveloped her, but she felt the warmth, the cursed desire that had caused his memory to haunt her life.
