The Long Lonesome

A small band of Texas Rangers, led by Jason Garrett, follow the notorious Comanchero "Sparrow" and his gang from Texas to Montana after the outlaws kill Garrett's parents and kidnap his sister. Through circumstances, Garrett's sweetheart, Tiffany Jo Cort, is forced to ride with the rangers, only adding to their problems. Through the year-long chase, men on both sides are killed as they fight their ways through Indians and a freezing winter. Garrett and Sparrow finally meet in a face-to-face showdown that will surprise the reader.
