Max Logan, Middville-s high school bad boy, has been gone for ten years. He left after graduation on the back of a motorcycle and no one has seen or heard from him since. While gone he worked his way up the ranks until he owned his own construction company. Now he-s ready to come back and claim the woman he ran away from ten years ago.

Fiona Kildare has had her heart broken enough times to know it-s better off locked away. Her first love, Max took off without even saying good-bye, then she married a jerk who thought that the marriage license was an excuse to use her as a punching bag.
