The Logical Progression

Year 2447. Dinas-A5 is a rising star as a Genetic Modifying Officer in the levelled and zoned civilisation called Eurodon, the last now left on earth. Sent to deal with a seemingly minor genetic malfunction at the lowly Level D Enclave 7, he discovers a more sinister threat to the stability of their entire genetically controlled existence. It seems only Dinas-A5 has the capability to save Eurodon. But at every turn, his progress seems thwarted by unwelcome events, personal distractions and emotional disappointments that leave him questioning his own abilities, confidence and his standing in that otherwise perfect society. Can his Level B assistant, Lyder-B3, also be trusted? Who is working against them and for what purpose? Who are the powers behind the thin and complex web of Sub Councils, the Genetic Modifying Officer Clearing Centre and the shadowy figures that serve on them? Faced with a race against time and an seemingly impossible personal quest, Dinas-A5 becomes the focus of a much bigger challenge. But, will he succeed, both for his own personal gain, and for the grander ambitions of others as nature and nurture lock horns, perhaps for final time?
