The Logical Miss Liberty

Abigail Rose is a very smart Fourth Grader who is always concerned with being the first to be called upon to read, to lead, or to do something spectacular. She has no friends and is apathetic regarding her class trip to the Statue of Liberty. She cannot understand why her classmates, who are from diverse cultures would be interested in learning about their ancestors and why they immigrated to America.
