      The Little Star is a poem I had written years ago.

      I have my star up in the sky, shining down on me.

      God has named my star a special name.

      It had been shining down on me the day I was born.

      Up in the sky, it shines love.

      When I go, it will fall to the ground.

      God will gather me in his arm;

      I am a special star to him.

      Shining his love on me.

      When I look up at the sky,

      I know he's there for me.

      Writing comes from your heart. When you feel love and have tears come, writing comes from your soul. I would like children to know their star is there. Up in the sky.
