Kerby Maxwell isn't a bad kid, even though his room is messy and he doesn't always do his homework. But everything changes when Kerby gets a mysterious-looking chemistry set — and he drinks a lemonade potion that makes him good. Suddenly, Kerby acts so nice and polite that everyone thinks he's sick!

Being good all the time isn't much fun ...but then Kerby has an idea. What if he gave some lemonade to that creep Bumps Burton? Bumps would turn into a super nice-guy, and Kerby would never get picked on again. There's only one problem — what happens when the lemonade trick wears off?
