The Lawman

Election day is coming up in Abilene. An ambitious businessman is backing his own candidate for county sheriff, and Marshal Luke Travis is drafted to run against him. When the voting is interrupted by a shooting spree and a freak fire, Travis suspects that his opponent, John Henry Dawes, is not the honest lawman he pretends to be. But the ballot count leaves Travis on the short end. The new sheriff is beginning a reign of corruption and outright terror, and he's got the power to silence anyone who tries to stop him.
