The Last of Her Lies

Kelly Henry disappears, leaving behind a diary that accuses her psychotherapist, Moira Ericson, of sexual abuse. When Ericson's father and stepmother hire red-haired lesbian PI Maggie Garrett to find Kelly and clear Moira, the trail leads to a sleazy flophouse in San Francisco's Mission district, a health food store run by a rapacious manager with shady secrets, and conflicting stories about Kelly and her many different personalities. Besides sorting out the varying views of Kelly, Maggie must cope with her own conflicts about working for clients who seem to be scheming against each other on the sly and with her sympathy for the vanished accuser.
