The Last Days II: Zion's Trail

Zion's Trail, the sequel to The Gathering Storm, continues the story of Steven Christopher, who was chosen by the prophet to guide the first Mormon wagon train of a thousand saints across a barren and forbidden land from Utah to the Land of Zion. Steven feels inadequate in the face of this great challenge, but receives help from his new wife, Mary, from his family, and especially from the Lord in many unusual ways. The new pioneers begin their long journey with joy and confidence, but soon learn that their road is fraught with danger, hardships, and disease. Gerald's goal is to gather the wicked armies of the earth to wage the war of Armageddon against Israel. As part of his plan, Gerald persecutes the saints and other good people in foreign lands.
