The Lady Is a Nurse

Wynne Bryant took the job at Twin Hills to be near her father, the club's golf pro, when she would have preferred the drama of a big city hospital. But Wynne soon discovers that "peaceful" Twin Hills has plenty of excitement of its own. First, there are her patients -- like lovely Pat Cartright, a young wife haunted by a secret illness and desperately afraid to tell her husband. Then there are the club members -- like wealthy Alicia Erickson, who takes an instant dislike to Wynne when handsome young attorney Mark Garrick begins to show an interest in the pretty nurse. Finally, there is tall, serious Dr. Philip Meade, who attracts Wynne more than she likes to admit...but who may be lost to her forever because of a tragic interlude in his past.
