About This Book

Raymond Phillips, a CPA firm executive from Portland, Oregon is attending a reunion with some of his Marine buddies, and is mistaken for aerospace engineer Timothy Walker and his life as an accountant is about to be shattered. Phillips is kidnapped, found to be the wrong man, and left for dead in a botched assassination attempt. When the CIA learns Phillips was mistaken for the rocket scientist they've been investigating, they conceive a wild plan to capture Timothy Walker and use look-alike Phillips as a stand in. The stakes are raised when Phillips is given a modified microchip to sell to the China Connection, a spy ring thought to be destroying U.S. satellites. China desperately needs the chip to complete a satellite weapon they plan to use against the United States. Things go horribly wrong when the head of the spy ring insists Phillips, who they believe is rocket scientist Walker, travel with the chip to insure it is properly installed in their anti-satellite missal. Phillips, and beautiful CIA agent Lora Gains posing to be his girlfriend, are whisked away without the CIA knowing where they are going or how to rescue them. Phillips, who was recruited to pose as a rocket scientist for a day, and CIA Agent Gains, are on their way to China, with no resources but those at hand, to bring down the China Connection.
