The Jarrian Chronicles

This is the second book in the Jarrian Chronicles series of five books. In this book the students at North Hills College go on two field trips. One, to the county morgue where they determine the death of several persons. The other is to a major theme park where they are put under surveillance by the DHS who are trying to find out how the college is getting money into countries to do research. At the park, Robert learns just how powerful the college is in thwarting the surveillance efforts of the DHS. Later, while at the beach, Robert figures out how the college is getting money to accomplish their research. But the reason for the research is another question. The DHS learns from a mistake the college made some thirty years ago that the college is somehow connected to the manufacturing of gold. DHS sends two agents onto the campus to try and find the connection. Robert and Tess are asked to help misdirect the DHS from the college and to the jungles of Brazil in the search for a factory that produces gold. This year (book 2) Robert Morgan and his Leadership Team start to suspect that the entire student body, and their parents, are not ordinary people. But, it still eludes Robert as to the purpose he and the others are being enhanced.
