If something looks too good to be true, it usually is. Phillip Rhodes wasn't a fool, but he was naive when he went to Western Australia to take up a position as geologist with Western Exploration and Development and found himself in the middle of a mining scam. It might be all right to be squeamish in the City or on Wall Street, but the middle of the Pilbara, the Iron Cauldron Country, is an easy place to lose bodies. Rhodes was up there when the cyclone struck. It probably saved him from getting shot. It certainly showed him how much he loved Tessa.
