The Incredible Importance of Chasing the Sun

Darleen Diamond is closer than she's even been to making her lifelong dream come true: she's won a place on a TV talent show and she's determined to win. But the road to fame and fortune is proving to be a bigger test than Darleen thought and distant, dormant memories come knocking when her mother reveals a painful family secret that will ripple to the very core of what Darleen has known all her life. All is not happy in the celebrity world of the talent show judges either, or at least two of them, Rupert St John and Bridie Flynn, aka Aphrodite, who must face some hard truths before long. It's only Daithi O'Flaherty, the third judge, who seems to be catching the rainbow on the way up. As the night of the big audition arrives, Darleen finally gets her chance to meet the judges and show them what she's got. But will she have what they're looking for or will it all have been as chasing the sun?
