About This Book

This is the story of a little girl growing up on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Raised in an orphanage until the age of nine, she then went to live with her grandparents, whom she adored and who taught her the values that led her to become a better person. When she became sixteen years of age, she moved to Ontario and learned the hard lessons in life. Becoming an adult, she raised six children of her own, and also raised four of her husband's. Taking on several jobs, she became determined and grew self-confident about the world around her. This led her to become the individual that she is today.
