The House That Jack Built

Sue Halliday has spent the first sixteen years of her life appearing in Festival TV's long-running programme The House that Jack Built. Infatuated with her co-star Ralph Boyd, she documents her feelings in a private diary, never thinking that it could be stolen.Sinister telephone calls threatening to make the diary public make Sue feel that she is unable to trust anyone around her, and any one of her fellow actors could be the voice making her pay for her feelings. Then accidents to characters in the serial parallel accidents to the actors in real life and Sue is implicated in an increasingly murderous chain of events.
