She had brushed her hair before going to bed, and now she wasn't tired at all. It must be something to do with the atmosphere of vitality that Patrick had brought into the house. He stood looking up at her, his thin face tilted at an appraising angle, his blue eyes keen with interest, his reddish hair slightly long, very thick and curly, very decorative. His clothes were casual and obviously expensive. He looked expensive altogether. Patrick Lloyd, baronet, exceedingly attractive, and fully aware of it.
