The Hind Heist

It's 1984, and the Soviet Union and Cuba have established a presence in Central America--primarily Nicaragua--and provide supplies to the communist government there with arms, ammunition, aircraft--and the dreaded Mi-24 helicopter gunship, NATO code-named "Hind". Little is known of this beast, so American Mercenary magazine offers a $1 million reward for anyone who can defect, or steal, and deliver one to a free world country for examination. Vietnam vet and former Cobra gunship pilot, now a police helicopter pilot Mark Ryan and his Special Forces vet buddy Todd Simmons decide to give it a try by infiltrating Nicaragua, locating a Hind, and stealing it!
