Buford, Quirt, Rufus and Smith are what you would call holdup men. They make their way in this old world by relieving others of what is rightfully theirs and appropriating it to themselves. It is tough work and times are hard and sometimes it just doesn't go the way they want it to. Like when they come upon something in a clearing. An object that looks like two saucers put together one on top of the other. Two metal saucers. But the thing becomes more than an object of curiosity when one of theirs is captured by the passengers of the thing and taken away. The rest of them must do something about it. But what?
